Fun Christmas Ice Breaker Games

Fun Ice Breaker Christmas Carols & Games

I love Christmas and I plan to use one of my favourite ice breaker games at our Christmas party!

Here is my festive version of  “Limericks”suitable as a large group Christmas ice breaker game:

You will need the words for several Christmas Carols – make this as easy or as hard as you like by using familiar or not so familiar carols. Type out the first 4 lines of the carol and print. You will then need to cut each line into strips – a line for each person. Most group sizes will not divide into 4 neatly so you may need to give some people 2 strips and you will need to know how many people are in the room to know how many carols to use.

Once everyone is assembled, hand out a strip of paper to each person. Ask everyone to move around and find the other 3 people with the same lines to the carol. Once everyone is in their carol groups tell them you need to check that they have got the right lines by asking them to sing the carol. It’s a great way to get a bit of carol singing going!

You can make it harder by adding 5 or 6 lines instead of 4
